The 2009 project establishment of science and technology expert audit conference of CNOOC (China National Offshore Oil Corporation) was held in Tanggu development zone, Tianjin on February 11 2009. The N80 casing pipe project establishment of our company passed the expert audit successfully.
The project establishment of science and technology expert audit conference was organized by the science and technology department of CNOOC. The leaders, experts from the CNOOC Research Center, CNOOC Energy and Developing Corporation, CNOOC Pipe Engineering Corporation as well as the project team present at the meeting. The subject of the audit conference this year is the support & lead of science and technology; the development & benefit of science and technology. During the conference, the experts audited the 68 projects applied by the inner companies, including 10 projects in oil field and chemistry, 3 projects in energy development and utilization, 6 well drilling projects, 29 oilfield and offshore construction projects, 4 geophysical exploration projects, 8 projects in the chemistry industry, natural gas and LNG.
The objective of our N80 casing project is to research the welding technology, implement the weld technology evaluation, improve the high intensity equipment, and fix the mature synthesis technology, carry one the trial-produce of N80 ERW casing pipe, enlarge the technology reservation and market development, finally realized the industrialized produce so as to fill the blank of this field in China.
The main research content is the physical and chemical prosperities of the N80 material and the finished pipe; change of the stress and influence of Bauschinger effect; the relationship between the elongation rate and the diameter reduction during the process of rough forming, finally forming and sizing; the optimizing of the forming, welding and heat annealing technology; the improvement and the utilization of high intensity pipe inner burr handling; improve the side roller controlling system of high steel grade during production. The key point of this technology is to analyze and understand the physical and chemical properties of N80 material, the relationship between weld technology and material during pipe production; fix the weld technology, heat annealing technical parameter, grasp the changes of stress during production, analyze the element which affect the diameter at both pipe body and pipe end, temperature control technology during forming and improve welding quality. Utilize the optimized weld technology so as to form independent intellectual properties.
